Terms of use
These are the terms for using HomeTrack, made by David Cvetkovski. By creating an account you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
What HomeTrack is
A way for a household to write down what work is expected, what it is worth, and what was done and paid. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold, send or receive money, it is not a bank or a payment service, and a contract written in it is an agreement within your family — not a legal contract of employment or anything else.
Your account
- You sign in with your own Apple Account, and you're responsible for what happens under your HomeTrack account.
- One account belongs to one household.
- The owner of a household decides who is invited to it. If you invite a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian, or have that person's permission, and you are responsible for how they use the app.
- You can delete your account whenever you like, from Settings in the app. What that removes is described in the privacy policy.
What you put in it
What you write and upload stays yours. You give HomeTrack permission to store it and show it to the people in your household, which is all it is used for. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, anything unlawful, or photos of people who haven't agreed to it.
Using it fairly
Don't try to get into households you weren't invited to, interfere with the service, or use it to harass anyone. Accounts that do can be suspended or removed.
The service
HomeTrack is provided as it is, and is free. Every effort goes into keeping it running and keeping your records safe, but it can't be promised that it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep a copy of anything that matters — any contract can be saved as a PDF from the app. Features may change, and if the service is ever shut down you'll be told in advance, with time to save what you want to keep.
Responsibility
As far as the law allows, HomeTrack and its developer are not liable for indirect losses, or for disagreements within a household about work or money recorded in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited by agreement.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told — by email or in the app — before the change applies. Continuing to use HomeTrack after that means you accept the new terms.
Apple
If you downloaded HomeTrack from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for HomeTrack or its support.
